Fairhope, Alabama

Fairhope is an authentic arts colony, a city created for writers, painters, poets and composers. It was named the most beautiful city in the South by Southern Living. And it's home to Forrest Gump… well, his creator Winston Groom.

Fannie Flagg lives here and her book, "Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe," is ingrained in the cultural heritage. It's a peaceful coastal town where in springtime around midnight you often hear angels singing Stars Fell on Alabama.

Everywhere you turn in downtown Fairhope there are flowers, and more flowers. And there are so many amazing restaurants in Fairhope to choose from, you won’t be hungry here!
