It is a myth that there is a better day of the week to book an airline ticket in order to get the best price. Airlines are constantly adjusting their airfares, up and down, using sophisticated revenue management software tools, taking into account historic booking trends, competition and current booking trends. It is important to book at least three weeks before your departure date (and even further out, if possible) to obtain the most competitive price.
If you have flexibility with your travel dates, compare pricing based on slightly different itineraries. Sometimes one day’s difference can save pretty big bucks!
